Toronto Maple Leafs vs Chicago Blackhawks

The Toronto Maple Leafs are holding down the fourth spot in the Atlantic division, boasting a solid record of 10 wins and 5 losses. They’re coming into this game on a hot streak, winning their last four matchups, including a nail-biter against the Wild with a 4-3 victory. Much of their success can be credited to their impressive offence, averaging 3.53 goals per game. However, the defensive side of things hasn’t been as tight, allowing an average of 3.41 goals.

On the flip side, the Chicago Blackhawks are kind of in a rough patch. They’re rolling into this game on a five-game losing streak, and the last one against the Blue Jackets was a bit of a bummer, ending 7-3. Right now, they’re hanging out at the bottom of the Central division. Looking at the stats, their offence and defence aren’t exactly hitting it out of the park. They’re only averaging 2.53 goals, which is the second-worst in the league, and they’re letting in an average of 3.71.

How the game will play out

I don’t think it’s hard to predict the outcome of this match, even though the Chicago Blackhawks are playing in their home stadium, I think the Toronto Maple Leafs will win. The last time that these two faced each other was back in October with the Blackhawks winning by 4-1.

My pick: The Toronto Maple Leafs with a puck line of -1.5 at (+100)PowerPlay Sports.

Nashville Predators vs St. Louis Blues

The Nashville Predators are rolling into this game on a good note, bagging three wins in a row. Their latest victory was against the Flames, sealing the deal at 4-2. But here’s the kicker – despite the recent success, they’re hanging out in the 6th spot in the Central division with 8 wins and 10 losses overall. Digging into the stats, they’re averaging around 3.11 goals per game but letting in about 3.28.

Meanwhile, the St. Louis Blues are doing pretty solid. They’re holding down the fort in fourth place in the central division with 10 wins and 7 losses. Just had a thrilling 6-5 win against the Coyotes in their last game. Checking out their stats, they’re throwing in an average of 2.83 goals per game while managing to score around 2.89, something they will need to improve as soon as possible.

How the game will play out

It’s a bit tricky to guess how this match will go down. Both teams are on a winning streak, but I’ve got a hunch the St. Louis Blues might snatch the win, especially since they’re playing on home turf. The last time these guys faced off in April, the Predators nailed it with a 6-1 victory. So, it’s a bit up in the air, but home advantage might just swing it for the Blues!

My pick: The St. Louis Blues moneyline bet of -125 at BetOBet.

Montreal Canadiens vs San Jose Sharks

The Montreal Canadiens are rolling into this game fresh off a sweet 4-3 win against the Ducks. But, gotta be real, they’re not exactly owning the charts right now. Sitting in 7th place in the Atlantic division with 8 wins and 9 losses, things are a bit shaky. Checking out the stats, they’re putting up around 2.89 goals per game but letting in about 3.53.

On the other hand, the San Jose Sharks have been awful as they’re sitting at the rock bottom of the Pacific division with a not-so-great record of 3 wins and 15 losses. It’s a rough patch for them, the worst in the whole NHL. And get this – their offence and defence are both taking a beating. They’re scoring about 1.47 goals per game and letting in a whopping 4.32 points per game.

How the game will play out

I gotta say, predicting this match doesn’t feel like rocket science. The Sharks are kind of struggling lately, and winning doesn’t seem to be their strong suit. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine them pulling off a win in this game. The last time these teams faced off in March, the Canadiens took it with a 3-1 victory.

My pick: The Montreal Canadiens moneyline bet of -119 at BetOBet.
