Soccer Picks for the weekend
The Premier League is more competitive than it has been in a while, and I’m loving it. Arsenal and City are battling for the top spot, and I anticipate that Man United will also be a contender in the near future. In this Soccer Picks for the weekend article, I will give you a breakdown of the best games, my pick, and where you can find the best odds.

Arsenal vs Aston Villa
The recent performances of Arsenal have left much to be desired, as they failed to secure a victory after losing against Everton, subsequently drawing against Brentford and losing to Manchester City in their last match. Despite maintaining the same number of points as City, they must improve and win the upcoming big games if they hope to maintain their current standing at the top of the premier league. Though the guns boast the second-best offence and defence in the league, injuries have unfortunately sidelined two key players, Mohamed Elneny and Gabriel Jesus. However, it is anticipated that Ben White will make his return to the pitch.
Aston Villa will be playing in their home stadium Villa Park, which is something never easy for the opponents. Despite losing their last two matches against Man City and Leicester, they have shown signs of improvement since the arrival of Unai Emery. In their last 22 matches, Aston Villa has scored 26 goals and allowed 34, while missing the significant presence of Tyrone Mings, who is still out.
My Pick: The Arsenal Moneyline bet of -118 with Betsafe.

Newcastle vs Liverpool
Newcastle United’s season started with great promise, but they have recently fallen short, drawing their last 3 matches. Despite this, the team is widely acknowledged to have one of the strongest defences, allowing the fewest goals of any team in the league. As it stands, Newcastle is in fourth place, with their sights set on a place in the Champions League. Unfortunately, injuries to key players, including Javier Manquillo, Emil Krafth, and Matt Targett, may hamper their performance in their upcoming match.
Liverpool, on the other hand, has not lived up to the high expectations set for them this season. Currently placed ninth in the league, they have managed to secure only one victory in their last five matches, a hard-fought win against Everton in their most recent outing. However, there is a silver lining for the Reds, with Diogo Jota making a much-anticipated return after a long spell on the sidelines due to a serious injury. Other players who are still recovering but showing signs of progress include Luiz Dias, Konate, and Thiago Alcantara. Furthermore, Virgil van Dijk and Roberto Firmino are returning to full strength after their own injuries.
In their previous encounter in August, Liverpool defeated Newcastle 2-1, with Fábio Carvalho scoring the winning goal for the Reds. However, much has changed since then, and the Magpies could spring a surprise in this match.
My Pick: The Newcastle Moneyline bet of +158 with Betsafe.

Manchester United vs Leicester City
Despite their recent draw against Barcelona in the Europa League, Manchester United are feeling pretty confident heading into this one. They currently sit in third place in the Premier League with 46 points, and with the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Antony, Eriksen and Casemiro joining the team under Erik ten Hag’s leadership, they’re looking like a force to be reckoned with. That being said, it won’t be an easy task for them to fight for the top spot in the league, with Arsenal and City both playing at the top of their game. To make matters worse, Manchester United will be without the suspended Casemiro, and there are doubts surrounding the fitness of Martial, Antony, and McTominay.
Leicester City, on the other hand, has had an impressive turnaround since the beginning of the season. After a rough start, they’ve managed to string together some impressive wins thanks in part to the arrival of players like Victor Kristiansen, Harry Souttar, and Tete. Their recent victories against Spurs and Aston Villa have been particularly noteworthy, and I’m eager to see how they’ll fare against Manchester United. Unfortunately, Leicester City will be without James Justin and Bertrand due to injuries, and there are still question marks hanging over the availability of Jonny Evans and Boubakary.
My Pick: Manchester United Moneyline bet of -161 with Betsafe.
